My life’s journey to date has provided me with experience of a number of industries, finance, sales, travel, social care, health and well-being, private and public sectors.
My work with Carers began in early 2001. I have been honored to have shared in their experiences of learning to live with their loved one who has a terminal illness or long term health condition. Relationships changed forever.
With counselling and mindfulness I work with clients to…
- Re-frame their experience
- Gain a fresh perspective on life
- Make their own choices
- Develop self worth and confidence
- Express their true feelings
- To live their life more fully
I’ve worked with clients in their teens to those in retirement.
“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness”.
William Arthur Ward”
I am committed to a program of continued professional development and enjoy meeting other counsellors regularly.
Areas of additional training I have undertaken include: Mindfulness, The Use Of Humor, Shame, Love and Fear, Working With Difference, Therapy and Poetry.
From these activities I have found the benefit of adding mindfulness to my own life, the importance to pacing myself and many other gems.
Attending the regular Regional Network keeps me up to date and enables me to deepen my understanding and the impact of a variety of popular topics: Family, Risk, Change, Isolation, Conflict, Identity, Fear and Power.
